O Simposio IAPS 2021 “Sustainability in the Post-Covid era: Challenges and Opportunities in face of Climate Change and the Energy Transition” foi organizado pola Rede de “Sustainability” da IAPS (International Association for People-Environment Studies), coa colaboración do Grupo de Investigación Persoa-Ambiente da Universidade da Coruña (España) e do Laboratorio de Investigación e Docencia “Desenvolvemento Sostible” da Universidade de Ciencias Aplicadas de Bochumm, co apoio do Instituto de Estudos e Investigación Psicosocial Xoán Vicente Viqueira

Dentro das diferentes sesións do congreso, tiven a honra de coordinar a sesión «Sustainability and community participation”. Nesta sesión doble, oito investigadores procedentes de China, Brasil, España e Alemaña presentaron as súas comunicacións versadas sobre a relación entre participación ambiental e comunitaria e os comportamentos proambientais e calidade de vida das personas. Asimesmo, na mesma xornada puidemos escoitar a conferencia plenaria do profesor Marino Bonaiuto, da Universidade da Sapienza (Roma) titulada “Barriers and facilitators for sustainable technology acceptance among stakeholders: the biofuel case from the EC H2020 ABC – Salt project“.
